Waimea Elementary School students will use the concepts of ohana (family), kupuna (ancestors, grandparents) and kuleana (responsiblity) to share their oli (chant), hula (dance) and mele (song) during the school’s May Day celebration from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. May 23 on the school field. Those attending are asked to bring their own mats or chairs.
